You know how you receive fwd emails where ppl warn you about what happened to them. Well usually i read and delete but I thought it would be appropriate to have a thread here to let all the LYN women folk read and be aware of the tactics that are being employed by bad ppl out there. Hopefully it will make ppl more aware about their surroundings and maybe save a life.

You are welcome to post any such warning emails that you received. Pls only post emails/stories that you receive this year to avoid it being outdated.

Just a reminder to most parents.. boy friends or so on... DO NOT LEAVE ANYONE ALONE IN THE CAR.... Especially when the car key is still plug in the car...

And to all the girls, try to stick with your boyfriend even if he just go off the car to get a newspaper or cigarette. It would be safer.

Did you even read the first story that Bart posted? If you did, chances of you asking a redundant questions are zero.
Secondly, many times I have passed cars with keys in the ignition and someone in the car not paying attention. Either they are watching TV or fiddling with their mobile phone. In 5 seconds I could have gotten into the car and drove it off. If I had an accomplice, add another 3 seconds and he'd be inside.

Drive for 5KM and dump whomever is in the car off the road while going at 80ks. That's why you shouldn't be in the car alone.
If you think the lock is safe, people can casually walk up to the car, smash the windscreen and unlock the door. With the key in the ignition, the alarm is clearly off. You're going to shout? There will be either a machete or a gun to your face. Shout all you want.

It's quite dangerous if the car key is still plug in the car... You are giving them a chance to steal your car by doing that.

Too much scaremongering articles. Unverified sources. Creates an atmosphere of fear and helplessness which encourages either paranoia or even MORE apathy.

Kill them all with fire.
