[WTA] HTC Touch flo 2D or 3D better

help me.... ppl say touch flo 3D make hp lag because uses more ram and etc..

pls give comments..

You'll notice that when swiping a finger horizontally across a panel, both the bottom icon and background image will move instantly. Previously the bottom icon moved first and then the rest of the panel moved after that (thus giving you a perception of lag.) The panels can now also be flicked repeatedly without having to wait for the animation on one to finish. I recommended that reducing the timing on the animations would increase the perception of speed, and that's exactly what they did.

erm, cn sy like that, if it has the processing oomph then it cn support TF 3D nice2, for exp diamond

TF 2D and TF 3D is slightly different in terms of display, TF 2 does not have as much eye candy when compared to TF 3D.
The functionality is the same.

So which wan better and does not give lag..2D or 3D? for sure TF 3D eats alot of RAM right?

ok u c, if ur ram is gd enough, running 3D wont b any prob, if ur ram is nt gd enough running 3D wil jz coz u lagness, so high ram - 3D low ram - 2D

Does HTC diamond P3700 gives lag when running TF 3D?

Why HTC touch 3G cannot use TF 3D since it has the same speed, Ram and rom with diamond?

i'm nt quite sure bout that, you cannot upgrade to touch flo 3d,but you can customize the look of you TF2D to be the same as TF3D using TF2D customizer.

so which wan better HTC touch 3g or Diamond better? price is more or less..

Obviously is diamond. For touch 3d, it runs smoothly in cooked rom but not in stock rom.

what do u mean by7 cooked rom?

hmmm...refer to xda-developer. Basically, the term Cooked ROM means that the shipped Extended ROM has been modified with other files by those we call chief. Means it is not from HTC. It is tuned, thus run more smoothly and some of the rom are added with nice applications.

how to upgrade it? well, im new in HTC.... currently switch from SE phone... SE i know alot la like modded stuff..

Most cooked roms are quite fast...

Not sure about the 3G, but I`ve read before a TyTN2 with TouchFlo 3D, so its not impossible

FYI, Touch 3G also known as HTC Jade.. so to get a cooked rom:

1. Read here .. u must HardSPL first!
2. Choose your ROM to download here.. normally rom topics are indicated with [ROM] .. topics without [ROM] are normally discussion, troubleshooting etc..
3. make sure u already back up your contacts/sms/appointments using PIMBackUp before HardSPL/flash new ROM

And make sure the language is correct. For english, they will put as [ROM][WEE]

Why dont u instal SPB Mobile Shell..alot o optrion when u install that s/w. U can drag, slide, customize icon etc...i've try to install TouchFlo 2d in my Omnia, damn..taking alot of program space..then i found SPB Mobile Shell. Easy..

Ive try to install it to my friend Dopod D810 and working smoothly..no lagging..

woo... i still prefer TF3D2...kakak.. make some confusion here....

only TD2 or going-to-release-soon TP2 using TF3D2.

Cause Omnia stock rom only give you 70mb that's why it's not wise to install Manila 2D but thers's a cooked WM6.5 Rom are available and it increase the Rom size to 125mb and contain 4 GUI in 1 ROM that is WM Standard Home Screen, WM6.5 Titanium, TF2D and Samsung Widget. and What I can say SPB Mobile Shell makes my Omnia lag but with this cooked rom Not only My ROM have more space but in a whole my Omnia performance fast and I don't suffer any laginess now

i am using Diamond touchflo 3D. i like it but it can be quite lag sometimes..

Official rom I`m guessing?
