So what's cooking in here? Have the transfer muppets emerged themselves from their cave?

Put urs back inside, will never happen. Only 2 potential No.7 comes into my mind (current squad):

1)Nani
2)Welbeck

Tosic has yet to show us his stuff, so I'll reserve my judgment on him.

Other than that, potential No.7 arriving:

1)Ribery

That's all. Other players that are linked with us, i.e Sanchez, I'd say, no.

It will happen.. he's got the looks, he's got the ability, and you have to remember at the start of last season who was the only one who look like scoring for us. He was our top scorer, until he was ask to cover all the attackers. He will step up.. with no Ronaldo to cover for, expect him to get at least 25 goals in the league.  laugh.gif

Nani doesn't have that aura or ability of a #7 for us. He's good, but not that good. Welbeck while I think is something special, is not on the same level at Rooney/Ronaldo's age(which is no criticism, not many are).. unless SAF really view him as one. He'll be a striker for us, someone to play alongside Berba/Rooney.. mini Henry.  nod.gif

Ribery should get it.. he should join us.

Oh, who could forget him saving our arse when Ronnie was out injured. But then again, do you want him appearing in front of goal or at the back shielding our defenders? (of course, there is only 1 correct answer, now go..) laugh.gif And for next season, I do want Anderson-son-son to score a goal. I don't understand, how hard is it for a Brazilian to score a goal?

Ah, the age to age comparison. Let's also compare how much they cost us that time. Rooney - 27-30mil, Ronnie - 12-13mil, Welbeck - not a single penny. For that, I say it's worth giving Welbeck a shot (like what SAF is already doing), and shut the critics abt us spending the dough to win the titles.

nani not fit to wear the legendary 7 shirt.he showing little/no improvement whatsoever last season.altho he have little playing time but once called upon its the younger lads(macheda,da silva, gibson, wellbeck that shone).i see him being shipped out in the future.not up to man utd material i say.
& lets hope macheda/petrucci can develop as good as rossi yeah.pity saf let him go.was always a class act.obviously his stint at newcaste ruined saf opinion of him.bloody geordies.

No improvement is true, overshadowed by our youth team is also true. but, Nani did show us what he can be during his first season with us, no doubt. Again, given the limited opportunities, like what many Tevez fanboys(i'm one myself lol) would argue, Nani had fewer chances and was limited to last 10-minute cameo each game, how do you expect him to improve or showcase his talent?

Nah, he's good the way he was last season. Us fans only fap to goals, not assists. Oh, let's also forget his fapbulous assist Vs. WHU because it was Ronaldo who scored. viva ronaldo viva ronaldo.

On that note, I believe our next freekick taker would be Hargreaves, no doubt. His conversion rate is the highest in the team lol
