Dunno la, with all this Ronaldo saga going on, as much as I want him to stay, at the end of last and this season, he screwed things up by saying "i dunno my future lol. maybe RM dunno"
gawd. I want him to stay, but if he wants to leave, then leave. Stop torturing our minds over your own mind games. MANUCHO PLS KTHX |

QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ Jun 11 2009, 06:20 PM) Joao Moutinho for a bit of mobility at the centre, Silva and/or Ribery for the winger position. Striker? Probably just keep what we have now unless they HOI dont want to keep Manucho. Tosic to be promoted next season along with Welbeck and Macheda? Rossi to make a come back to OT? Anyway, goodbye Ronaldo. Anyway. Bye Ronaldo. It was nice having you in Manchester United. |

lol yeah. the first time I saw Ronaldo on the pitch, he made those awesome skills against Bolton during the start of EPL.
Daym, that's when I started to fall in love with him (B.M. [before manucho]) All his step-overs and flicks, daym. But alas, his skillful legacy shall always remain in my noggin. He shall be remembered as the 2nd best technical player in Man Utd (1st being Ryan Giggs Ryan Giggs) |

QUOTE(corez @ Jun 12 2009, 09:28 AM) Must be a reason why we spend on Nani. This will be his season like C Ron first season when he replace Becks. No la, Rooney is best played up front, even as Capello mentioned.Currently we have, Nani, Park, Giggs (old), Rooney (If we get Benz maybe he will spend on the wings more to accomodate Berba and Benz) & Tosic (Need to bulk up). So my suggestion, use that 80 mill to pay the debt and just use our initial budget + Cambell money to buy Benz. If he plays on the wing, he won't produce much goals as expected. So I hope SAF decides to play him on the wing, and then will get But, after looking at this video I feel a bit sad though. A player who has such technicality on the field, who makes defenders become little toddlers on the field, who possesses immense dribbling skills, who has grown up from a young teenage boy to a award-winning man, is now leaving Manchester United. Looking at that video, will make me miss his sidesteps, and marseille roulettes, and one-touch passes. Will miss CR7 |

If Ribery joins United, then we'll have a Muslim United player!

QUOTE(thatsound @ Jun 12 2009, 09:09 PM) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owen_Hargreaves What the heck you expect him to do.17 million pounds in fact, 2 season, 25 games, 2 goals says it all with only 3 games to show in the 08-09 season Play on the field with a wheelchair? He's injured daa. Unless he's Morgan Freeman, then I don't see why not. This post has been edited by Sheep319: Jun 12 2009, 10:46 PM |

QUOTE(thatsound @ Jun 13 2009, 12:52 AM) bottom line, fergie is wise enough not to splash 80m on benzema or ribery, huntelaar or whoever who is currently playing abroad. cause its a very very big gamble, and you obviously don't want risks especially after you just sold your best player. cause otherwise everyone would be criticising united for struggling solely in the absence on ronaldo, which means without ronaldo, united is a lousy team. If that's the case, no Rafael Da Silva, no Fabio Da Silva, no Manucho, no Macheda. It'll only be Minum Air, Welbeck and the gang.Added on June 13, 2009, 1:24 am QUOTE(aztechx @ Jun 13 2009, 01:17 AM) well,if we have the cash to spend, the likes of benzema, ribery or sneijder might be worth it..and like wan mentioned, proven in the bpl doesnt mean that player would fit into the team..in this case we all know who im talking about..fergie will bring in a player or two at most..ronaldo is irreplaceable so we might consider strengthening the other positions.. In my opinion lah kan, Sneijder won't be quite a worthwhile asset to the squad. His physique is keciput, less aggressive for the English style. Yes I know, he has the accuracy of a demi-god (but Beckham still wins), but I just don't think he'll fit in. I could be wrong though, Walcott sure did. Such a small body, but amazing pace and technicality. Eh wait, I'm in MUST. Wrong example. This post has been edited by Sheep319: Jun 13 2009, 01:24 AM |

QUOTE(jackdante22 @ Jun 14 2009, 08:54 AM) QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ Jun 14 2009, 09:50 AM) A. Sanchez eh? Hard to judge a player based on just "best moments in video", but he looks like a 'less of Ronaldo but more direct like Messi type of Eh. By the looks of it, A. Sanchez vs John Terry, Terry would bring him down.attacking player. You know, less showboating, less tricks, it is still there, but more penetrative dribbling rather than just waste time on the ball. Tricky player nonetheless and I think at 20. y.o., United should at least try to snap a player similar to him. I think a rather different player than we currently have. But if Nani, like Ronaldo in the past, puts more direction into his game and more production in his game, rather than just slowing the game with too much stepovers and whatnot, I think United would be just fine. I dunno la, his physique seems kinda light for the EPL. |
