hello there guys. simple question, did anyone have tried changing starter motor before? was it THAT hard? i have nothing but time .

the thing is, my saga (6 months dead) isnt starting. i changed the relay (i put on relay to the starter a couple of years ago, i believe many saga do this rite?), got a new battery inserted and all it did is click sound. LOL!. so, i suspect the starter motor is kong coz well it's a 1988 car and IINM last time it went through some flood a bit .

i baru change... not that hard actually... just 2 screw...

so, i did some research on the net. coz it is one of quite dangerous job, i need to remove the battery also right? were the srews are tight until need 2 men?

change starter abit hard
it is hidden under the intake manifold
if u got suitable tools and pro enough can try removing it without dismantling ur intake manifold
dont need to remove battery
jz disconnect ur battery can adi

change new sparkplugs and check cable more easy la

change vr4 starter...nice start engine sound...

haha. no matter what the car wont start without changing the starter motor. if i cant change it by myself , might as welll calll the mechanic to come by to my house and install the new starter motor =,=!!

make sure you connect the correct socket... not so tight la... but to play safe... give it to other shop to install...

v6 starter lagi nice...

better to ask them to install ma...
