You need to do a 'manual' disabling of your APN status.

Go to unlock.co.nz on your iPhone through Safari and follow the instructions. After that, do a test run; ur phone will no longer be able to access the internet through 3G. To re-enable it, just delete the Profile in your Settings.

The APN settings disappears from the phone for those on the Maxis network *siGh*

AhHH.. thanks for the tip. Am going to check that forum out to see how I'm gonna get back my APN settings

Edit: ooPs... Looks like I need to look for a non-Maxis sim!
