changing for the sake of changing makes no sense.
u need to know what u want.
clearer notes at high gain?
better lows?
cleaner cleans?

whatever.

Duncan Invaders tongue.gif

In all honesty, me and Ever are still EMG people and would probably recommend either 2x EMG 81 or an EMG 81/60 combo......

If you don't want actives, maybe Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz combos would be better.

But keep in mind, it's about an RM500-700 investment, and that's not including installation charges......

IMHO, Those Duncan Design pickups would be enough for a novice player already.

RM500-700.
It's about Rm250-RM350 per piece brand new...... depending where you buy them.
Maybe Singapore would be cheaper, or one of our sellers around here have some stock left.

But even a Squier guitar can sound and play amazing with the proper care. Heck, I still use my LP-100 for riffing........ but that's after maybe RM1.5k worth of upgrades....

Also, your Squier is quite unique in the fact that the SG-like shape is pretty rare for Fender's taste.

I still think EMGs would sound sweet in this baby.

Go to dimarzio.com and use the 'pickup picker'. I absolutely love their website.

an easy guide is:
find an example of the artist/guitarist that u like, then look up for his guitar set up. easy mah.
but that's doesn't count other factors though..

btw nice guitar u have there!

B-T-Dub, Invaders will give you quite bad cleans.......
If you want sparkling cleans, look elsewhere. It just breaks it up way to easy.

Unless you're good with a solder and know your way around guitar electronics, you better send it to a shop to get it fix.

DiMarzio Evos, are really powerful pickups and can pickup every single minute detail of your playing. If you're a sloppy player (like me), you can see it as a curse, because it can really amplify your mistakes.
