i had been tried to listen a few death metal band... Morbid Angel, Napalm Death. yeah pretty old stuff. Dat was my 90's.

I wonder what is the fun or excitement in this type of repetitive guitar brushing music. And the melody inside the music is too high level to digest.

Yeah, couldn't bite every lyrics they shouting if without the lyrics sheet. Even difficult to catch a single word than a rap song.

The only thing i feel the hardwork is their poetry lyrics..haha. It doesn't make them feels like they are releasing their angst & frustration thru making bunch of noise.

They want to voice out something.

When talk bout entertaining, you guys just plainly want to suffocated with the noise?!

Or just a type of metal sound which can branded yourself at the most top class of the metal which not a common metalhead will accepted?!

In a simple way, to be a special somebody?!

Sorry if i offended any serious death metal fans here. I am just curious to have the answer from those who can listen to this type of music like 24 hours per day.

Or never feel to touch others genre of music after into such massive sound.

NO melody at all even when they say melodic death metal..

I myself listen to metal but mostly power metal or symphonic metal.. I used to listen to CHildren of bodom and arch enemy but got to lighter stuff

Death metal was never my taste and I definitely think u guys listen to death metal just to be different from others.. right?

some death metal bands are worth listen to, especially those old band back in the early 90's, they still have those thrash metal element. modern death metal (AND hardcore bands) are bunch of crap, like u guys said, nothing but 'BUARGH!!! BUARGH!!! HUU!!! HUARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH' with crappy double pedal beat.

What about Grindcore and Noisecore? to me, yes at first you cant recognize the form of tunes/melodic in it. But if u are patient enough to bleed your ear... sooner or later you will appriciate it, just like me. it aint really just a form of music. its more of a art. me? i love japanease noisecore and japanease hardcore.

google for "324" or "disgust". just love this 2 bands form of music. if its european try "Canvas" this one also kick A**e. if its malaysian, go for "Blood on wedding dress". aint really deathmetal nor grindcore. more like mathcore to me. but its really that good

last but not least "Anal Cu*t" and the almighty Napalm Death
