sorry, 1500bahts is for one pax blush.gif

snorkeling trips are around 450-600bahts/pax (inclusive of snorkeling gears, some provide meal)
normal meals are around 100-200bahts/pax

Am going to Koh Lipe in July, but understand there is no ferry services from Langkawi during low peak season.

How do I get there from Penang?
*
You may travel from hatyai or take a ferry from langkawi to satun, from satun Pak Barra Pier to koh lipe.
Total travel time about 4hrs.

Is it a good time to go Koh Lipe in May / June?
*
May is the end of peak season so it is good to travel during this time as to avoid the crowd.

June will be raining season started in koh lipe, it's not advisable to go during this time.

Thanks

The easiest way to go to Koh Lipeh:

Buy a package at the travel agency opposite Hadyai railway station.

Koh Lipeh is currently the best nearest Island if you are coming from Kuala Lumpur ... The best ...

Don't go there via Langkawi as the boat fare is sometimes 50%-70% more expensive than the price you pay at Pak Bara, Satun.

I was there (Koh Lipeh) 3 years ago on the Christmas eve ....it was almost impossible to get a small room with fan for less than RM100 (assume THB 80). But it is still THE BEST NEAREST PLACE IN THAILAND that we can go ....

Another alternative option to go there is via LANGKAWI...

KILA or Subang Airport -> Langkawi -> Jeti Kuah -> Ferry to Koh Lipeh

BE CAREFUL , kindly check the schedule ... SOMETIMES during low season there wont be any freey/boat to Koh Lipeh from Langkawi

Although abit late to tell.

There are two departing from langkawi, either Kuah jetty or Telaga, not necessarily take from Telaga only.

Tropical charter cheaper than Bundhaya
