Hi all, I am considering of getting a house at either KU IR2 or Putra heights citrine. However after a site visit I found that there is high transmission lines around KU, seems like it is along the road of kesas.
I am kinda of concern with that and searched thru the web and found out that some said 600m will be safe and some reports indicate that at least 800m are consider safe...
Now i am in kinda of dillema where I am not sure whether the Kemuning utama Indah residence area are safe from electromagnetic field. Also that when passing in putra heights, i saw quite a lot of towers there also. Just that wondering anyone got information that citrine is far away from the High transmission lines.

Well guess with my budget I only can go for kemuning utama or max out at putra heights citrine just for health concerns. Or if there are other advise or suggestion from this two locations.

I too would avoid anything too near a HT lines or worse, telecomms tower. But if possible please verify with TNB or the telco what the lines are for. One example would be the HT lines crossing by the water tank/Solaris Dutamas. I was all these while under the impression it is high voltage power lines, until I got the confirmation that it's actually a RELAY LINE, which has abt 50W of power traversing through it. It's like a light bulb's wattage! As for telco, check if it's only receiving, or transmitting as well. The former is much less harmful.

Another "verification" that you can do is to observe the greens around the wire (if possible), look at the "radius of emptiness", ie no growth. The bigger it is, the worse the radiation is. Ironically, immediately after this radius, the greens are "more green" and the rest of the green in that area.

Of course if you can "feel" the effects of being near one, that's the best(or worst). I actually can feel them..one of the things I wished I possess not...
