blink.gif and they couldn't include the new weapon models to save space. The retail is 1 disc right?

Seems need 15GB HD space for Steam(Digital Download) in system requirements. Perhaps more than 1 Dvd? unsure.gif

Steam always has bigger files. My Mass Effect is 10gb while retail is 1 disc.

Still I think BC2 is 1 disc.

Will they let us preload the beta then enter the code on Thursday?

So do you have to download 15gb or is it compressed during downloading?

Buy a Battlefield game to play singleplayer... really make no sense. If no dedi servers can still sell the game at least. It's not a Steam controlled game.

I'm watching a vid of MW2 on youtube. Wah, I only experienced spec ops and single player. What happened to teamwork like spec ops? So arcadey.

Well they did start this rent-a-server crap.

Ermm... to tell you the truth, I actually bought MW2 while waiting for BC2. And it's the worst purchase in my life. The MP is totally hack fest (Only PC, no idea about console tho). There's this time, IW patch the client and these people can't use the hack for few hours. And this guy "****head" actually confess on paying for the wall hack and aimbot. And he also tell us where to purchase the hacks. These guys actually paying for a service to aim and detect enemy for them. Well, please dont ask me the url, ask ur frenz in SG.

Edit : Found this when I was checking BFBC2 update on twitter. LOL

Back to BC2,
Actually what I like about Steam is: normally they don't have disc check and good game back up. ( Although Steam Client is already a DRM, lol ) And Steam > EA Download Manager.

Added on January 25, 2010, 11:18 pmBattlefield Bad Company Squad Rush Gamemode Details! (Source)

We'd like to officially announce the new gamemode and clarify the details surrounding the "Squad Rush" gamemode for BFBC2. So let's start with the video and get into it shall we. :-)

Squad Rush Summary

Gamemode: Squad Rush puts a squad of four players versus another squad of four players for a max of eight player matches in this intense one crate/two base infantry only version of the Rush gamemode.

How To Access "Squad Rush" at Launch

North America: All customers that pre-order from GameStop (local retail store or website) on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will have an Exclusive Access* for 30 days to play the "Squad Rush" gamemode and any friends they bring with them. This means you can always play with your friends if you have the Exclusive Access* never forcing you to split from them, plus those that have this Exclusive Access* are a bit more popular... even if only for 30 days. ;-)

Rest of The World: No Exclusive Access, but we will make it available at launch and you can also invite any of your American buddies to play as well.

* No Exclusive Access on PC, however we'll make the gamemode available at launch instead.

You mean it shows as non-Steam game? Well, you can just add anything there and rename it to anything you want.
