Modding my PowerLogic PSU, to a Enermax PSU XD... give some comment

haha! one day, i'm so free untill i create this  just a sketch  some more cutting.... After torchering my neighbor ear and mine... i finally make an hole on top of the PSU...  how it look like... just a prototype.. haha! before, the psu has been sprayed on white theme... to suit my operation sub-zero that have die.. to make a easier job to strip off all the paint.. i decided to use this!!  the happy time...  does it look shiny...?  but dont know y a... when it dried, the surface become dull... The surface is so dull... untill it cant reflect light!  then decided to Sleeve it and re assemble it back....  here is the work i have done... those is just some cheapo sleeve.... the whole PSU...  the whole thing revive after a long day... testing it... with finger crossed... haha! a drill a blowhole/holesaw if possible. darmel can optional. jig saw can also be used. that is all basic for modding. than u need a fan connect it to fan to the wire and u're all done.

i now in kl... dump all my tools at my hometown in perak and retire modding for the meantime. quite hard to find that(bigger one). most of it is expensive... just lucky that a shop is clearing that out. but i am sure that this blowhole can be found widely in hardware shop. just to let u know... to use this blowhole... normal drill cant be fitted... i use my dad industril hammer drill, biggest of all...  just to fit it ngam ngam.

dremel useless... using dremel to cut a line on arcylic is hard. better go off using a jig saw.... but rotary tool is good for something too... just buy only if u can... good investment anyway even u not using it for modding. This post has been edited by tjay_tj: Jun 3 2009, 05:36 PM

i got try use jig saw cut fan hole~~ XD 1st cut not too round and the blande i use too "fat" then i change smaller cutting blade is easy alot ^^

true... u need to know coding before u can use the mechine... but... cnc mechine can do godlike stuff...anyway, one of those industrill cnc cost rm100k... 'not the one he build'

XDbehind my house got a "kilang" doing everything 1 i always go boro their mechine XD damn cool and fast hehe i love the erm...how say tat...lazer? a use light to cut acrylic hehe if i tat rich is so good~

laser is the newer technology which also do the same thing... cnc is the older one... use drill bit and so on...  lucky u... got chance to borrow... maybe like that u should do a full scratch build.
