US Link tested:
Rapidshare: Global Crossing #1
Megaupload: Free server

EU Link tested:
Easy-share: Free server

DDL using free account for both US and EU link.

Shit speed from shit ISP. Downloading from US servers and getting 1-10% of 1Mbps. Ip tested 60.48 and 60.50 both sucks just as bad as the other. Aside from that, mediafire, megaupload and oh-so-many-more US and EU based file hosting sucks ass regardless of where there are.

My 2010 resolution is to collect as much money and gtfo out of this shitty country, hell doesn't matter where because any EU country has better internet connection (even INTRANET) than this shitty country can ever provide. Maybe even some rural china because lets face it, even kampung there got fiber optic.

Premium ip? *wipes his a** with it* there, now its just as crappy as any other.

So after the so called "maintenance", rapidshare speed is like shit going from 128 kB/s straight to 0 kB/s and vice versa. Plus, megaupload speed is still SHIT before and after.

Conclusion; TMnet's maintenance is just as excuse for them to piss more money because their CEO, board of directors and whoever higher-up wants a shiny new yard, sports car, jewelry for mistresses or whatever dumb crap rich ppl do.

Since nobody is even noticing any improvement whatsoever (I noticed more shit and crap, ie: even EU's file hosting is shittin' up) so my above conclusion is dead on. Once again, Malaysians getting rob, raped and piss on and what will we do? Nothing because thats how it is in "bolehland".

PS: Its 4am and the speed is horrendous, so it seems that regardless of the time, they will like it or not, throttle your ass off, regardless if your ip is 60.48, 60.50 etc.

Megaupload, MediaFire, Rapidshare, Hotfile and mIRC dcc, utter crap. Failure doesn't even come close to describing how it is. They've really nailed the coffin with the recent "maintenance". So in the next coming one, is going to deal the final blow and bring us back to the stone age, for "non-premium" users that is.

Looks like the only way to go is to upgrade to their premium services to be able to enjoy any sort of "normal broadband experience" that other countries is experiencing.

Seems like megaupload, hotfile, rapidshare speed is back to normal (for now atleast). Genuinely impress but hold on, there another "maintenance" soon so.. I guess its too early to tell shakehead.gif (even if the maintenance is not broadband related, who are we kidding, its the same thing).

Although its really unstable (from 128 KB/s to 20 KB/s back and forth) so thats kinda shitty but still, better than 5 KB IMO. doh.gif
MU speed back to utter shit after trying to download another file.

Ip address: 115.133.46.*
Location: KJ
File hosting: All free, non-premium user (megaupload & rapidshare using 1 connection, hotfile 3 connection).

A very interesting article about foreigners and their encounter of our tortoise pace internet : http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...36696&sec=focus

Just like what i encounter in my daily work. Such conversation numb me to the bones.

Read it quick because the article is gonna disappear soon haha biggrin.gif .

He was “very impressed” when he first came to Malaysia 10 years ago.

“You all then had ADSL lines when we in France were still using dial-ups,” he recalled.

Corruption, bribes and some other illicit activity might have something to do with it... NAH. Our country don't have that money so we can't possibly upgrade our broadband infrastructure, no joke biggrin.gif

so the technician themselves know 218 ip offers the best routing while others...

KNOWN issues but never solved. hmmph...

Of course its known to them, or else how you think there're going to save money? By assigning everyone good ip address their bandwidth is going to be sucked dry faster than global warming sucking Malaysia's water supply.

Why won`t they admit they can`t keep up with the 21st century.
*
They can keep up with any century, provided if "illicit" upper activities is reduced significantly, plus a CEO with a proper human brain and 2 sets of MEN balls.

Corruption is normal anywhere on EARTH for that matter. But in Malaysian, you know lah how it goes. doh.gif Intelligent people demolish building with their brains, "some people" use their ass and decide to stack crains on top of a building to demolish it, aiyo rclxub.gif
