Their announcement claims "upgrade" happened in 11.00pm, Tuesday, 26th May 2009 until 6.00am, Wednesday, 27th May 2009. So by now there shouldn't be any problems, then again this is TMNut we are talking about, upgrade or fix one place and probably broke several are places doing it rolleyes.gif

I never had issues with their "upgrades" other than usual slowness, but this month each time they "upgrade" elsewhere I seem to encounter a few disconnection issue, I rarely get disconnected as my line is stable before this as well.

If their technicians are really this bad, they should consider getting outside professional help.

Everytime they announce that kind of upgrade, we will end up getting BS like this.

I can't access Yahoo or most other international website at all

Melaka area here

I usually ping yahoo to test my connection (more of a test to see whether i have any connection or not) and the usual ping time is usually below 300ms.

At the moment, its above 700ms

And oh, can't download anything from rapidshare, unlike yesterday

Seems like TMNET bullsh** about this upgrade thing, because using words like upgrade and better service for customer would mean improvement in the customers internet service...

I notice since this morning, when loading youtube video, my network icon shows that it stops data transfer from time to time... Its like it download for a while, and disconnect for a second, and goes on and on

Last night i lost my connection at about 12 am, probably some maintenance here in melaka, and since this morning, my youtube has been that way.

I'm having problem even with normal web browsing and youtube.

P2P is different, they are like download accelerator, even if each link are slow, the total speed is a cumulative of all simulations connection which doesn't reflect any problem that TMNet is having right now

Normal surfing like youtube video can't benefit from multiple connection laugh.gif
So its directly affected by whatever crap TMNet is doing right now vmad.gif

Let me guess, you work for those moronic organization called TmNet? laugh.gif

It doesn't take an Einstein to set up a DSL modem
And no, it has nothing to do with splitter or restarting your computer

If the line is unstable, there's nothing the end user can do, its not his fault

We're not talking about acoustic modem here either. On the user end, it either works or it doesn't. Line quality isn't the end user's fault

You wanna defend TmNet, at least come up with something that make sense smile.gif
