If you are technically trained, then you can use the OpenDNS address below:

Then you will be good to go.

Their announcement claims "upgrade" happened in 11.00pm, Tuesday, 26th May 2009 until 6.00am, Wednesday, 27th May 2009. So by now there shouldn't be any problems, then again this is TMNut we are talking about, upgrade or fix one place and probably broke several are places doing it

I never had issues with their "upgrades" other than usual slowness, but this month each time they "upgrade" elsewhere I seem to encounter a few disconnection issue, I rarely get disconnected as my line is stable before this as well.

If their technicians are really this bad, they should consider getting outside professional help.

are the correct DNS servers to switch to.

If you're using a router, go to your router home page and change from option from get "Automatic DNS" to "Use these DNS servers" -- each router is different, but you should be able to find something similar.

Added on May 27, 2009, 5:45 pmWell, frankly speaking I'm quite satisfy with streamyx before this month~ everything is smooth, fast and can get the maximum speed I wanted... but then in May 2009, everything changed, speed is slow, can't browse international web, always down, DC, and so-on...

Then when I need to download some certain program and video for my project, I only noticed that streamyx capped my speed to only 30kbps(from 11am to 1am)... P.S when April I'm working so doesn't have much time to go to the net therefor I didn't notice about this...

and now, everything went haywire... even google can't load...

Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click the Properties button.
Click the radio button Use the following DNS server addresses: and type in OpenDNS addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.
Click the OK button, then the Close button, and the Close button again. Close the Network and Sharing Center window.
