  Hi there monkey, I'm sending this e-mail to rant about my slow connection speed after a specific time, the time is after 11AM. I think you and your so-called "monkeys" throttle EVERYTHING after 11AM. And I know I know,,,, You'll be giving shit excuses back to me, I don't need your dumb troubleshooting guides, I don't need you what-so-ever 'report-number' that takes FOREVER to progress.
  Okay, let's go straight to the point. As stated above, I've been recieving slow speed after 11AM. As I say slow, I mean slow. Oh wait, you'll be throwing 1 rule that is stated in the T&C, and that's "xv. Streamyx download and upload speed is guaranteed for local content access only. TM is not responsible for the low speed of either download or upload of international content access." And yea, guess what? All the server I've tested are in local sites. I'm not using TM speedometer for this. Your speedometer is down for some reasons. I'll attach a file after I finish typing. (I used P1 speedometer and speedtest.net)
  And the second thing is, as according to MCMC, broadband users should be recieving 90% of their advertising speed. And at peak hours, I'm recieving only 40%-78%. And that's conning. And on midnight, I only recieve max 80% of my current 1Mbps connection. So, I demand that you call you so-called "monkeys" so cap my DSLAM port higher so that I can recieve 90% of the advertised speed.
  That's what I wanna say. Oh wait! Sorry I don't have banana for you as a reward for reading my e-mail.  Anyhow thanks for your time for reading my e-mail.

Is it just me or the connection to certain websites..like opendns takes tooo long to load than ever?

It seems after the "downgrades"...most of the websites are ...unreachable or slow...and I can't even upload a SINGLE picture to photobucket.

sigh.

Upgrading of a large infrastructure is not a simple process that can be done in a couple of days. As I said in another post, there may be upgrades in the next few weeks as well. Upgrades are done by areas. Then like anything else that changes, there may be some problems arising due to the upgrades which has to be sorted out. Whether we will all eventually benefit from all this, we have to see.

Also, just because TM said they are doing core network upgrade, they did not say our connections will be much better after that. They are upgrading their local backbone  / network infrastructure. While some may see some improvement, the lack of international bandwidth or throttling etc etc will still cause slow connections. It seems users think that as soon as the upgrade is done, everything will be fast. I hope so, but I think the core network upgrade is mainly to cater for the upcoming HSBB. Whether the regular connections will see any improvement remains to be seen.

So totally it was approved that the upgrade brings no improvements at all...
