its apple and oranges already between those ipod.. cause ipod 4 got gyro for the games.. i myself got a second hand ipod 2gen.. cause i dont think i will be using it that much.. just occasional game but mostly music, wifi n vids.. so ipod 4 wont be any benifit for me.. hehe..

yeah.. music.. with headphone of course.. you can buy the ones with mic so that you can enable skype calls.. voip calls. etc.. ipod 2g above supports mic.. vids i dont watch.. so no movie in my ipod.. just music purely.. and games..

actually.. you situation is similar to mine.huhuhu. gave my netbook to my bro... asus eeepc 4g.. and got myself an ipod.. better portablity i guess.. nothing bulky to bring around... plus i dont like the idea of having one device for all.. like a smart phone.. wifi drains batt alot and i absolutely dont want my phone to die on me when im on the go..

if my ipod batt dies.. i dont really care that much..

to be honest.. this is my first apple product and hopefully it won't disappoint me and i only play around my friend's iphone/ipod touch for a while and found that the iOS and build is remarkable >.< i can't wait to get my hand on it.. hahaha... but still need to wait for my paycheck
