hehe.. crits are alwiz like dat one.. even just bought them for an hour, oledi got 1 or 2 died oledi...

so, crits must be consumed on 1 go.. if they are too many of them for ur pets, then just free them, to avoid smell n flies.. and to avoid the ones still alive get infected in any kind of disease or parasites.. which is not good 4 ur pets!

haha.. i know i know.. bcoz they are dangerous, they will be kept with extra caution.. i planned to put them into a small glass tank, then the glass tank will be put into another big tank.. double protection.

n handling them oso no need to worry, ive been keeping scorpions for quite some time.. i know how fast they can be n how they behave.. although i nvr own a desert scorp b4, but hey, there is always the first step~

yeah, they could climb i guess, especially at the glue connecting the sides of the glass tank.. dats y i thinking of double protection~ lol

one of the reason i dun start step by step frm forest scorp to bark scorp to beginner desert scorp like HH is becoz most of them i dun really like.. i like handsome2 scorp like afs, emp, lycas scutilus, yft, Israeli golden scorpion and lq~

n keeping animals that we dun really like will make us less responsible towards them.. n believe me, i did dat mistake once, n i regret it until now.. huuuu..

n im a very2 careful person, everything with venom n attitude i never hold.. like my water snake, eventhough venom not potent, n my afs too~ hands are always keep far frm reach~

lol.. only tarantula i hold, n that even the docile ones like chaco gold knee n my sg blue (well, she had turned out to be docile). n i guess scorps not as fast as obt..huhu

rideon: cut the mealworms into bits!

i got a weird happening last nite.. the story goes..

i got 2 afs slings dat were well behind molting schedule.. way behind their brothers n sisters.. then 2 days back i found dat they haf molted, but theres a small house fly one on each of the two scorpling containers!!

the air hole is too small for fly to come in n lay eggs..n even if fly come in n lay eggs, it wont be just 1 fly being born, it would be a few! n i nvr see any maggots there..

my guess is dat sumhow the mealworms carries fly egg in their body.. but the thing is, i gave all my other pets the same mealworms, yet none such thing had happened b4! and even in the mealworm container oso nvr this happened!!

the hole is damn small.. just as big as a ball pen's tip.. n if it can fly in..how come it cannot fly out? btw, the flies only appear in the container after those two special case scorpling molt.. 1 fly in each container..

if the baby fly come in frm the hole as possibly couldnt get out bcoz it had become bigger, it wont be the case oso bcoz i check my scorplings once a day, sumtins 2 times daily.. i sure would detect it

just its kinda weird.. i put them in a small plastic jello container with very small airholes..

yeah, thnkfully it doesnt harm da scorps..
