Hi there. Is it possible to backup all the applications you had installed in memory card? Coz I want to transfer all my files and applications into my new MicroSD card. But it seems that all of my applications had gone. Only pictures, videos and music files are available there. =(

Confirmed too. Copy & paste is all it takes to transfer all ur files from old mem card to new one.

Note: Make sure to set ur Windows Explorer to "Show all files & folders" coz a lot of the stuff is hidden which might explain why ur apps don't work if u didn't copy all of the files over to the new mem card.

Ohh OK. I got it. I didn't place to show hidden files. That's cause my applications gone missing. Thanks!

No need update firmware for this... if u really need, u can hard reset it

Hard Reset (Backup all data first)
1. Switch off phone
2. Press the following button>> Green, *, 3 and Power button
3. Release after you saw the Nokia Hand Splash Screen

btw i think your battery or the battery connector is the cause of your problem
*
I dun think its my battery connector. Bcaz when i restart my phone, it will still ask 4 both date n time.

OMG, today I noticed a patch of death pixels on my phone's LCD screen. icon_question.gif I wanna ask you guys, how much roughly a 2.4 LCD screen cost? Plus should I send it for repair at Nokia authorised dealers? So sad, tak sampai 1 year usage the screen got death pixels and the size of these pixels are like a size of a rice. T_T

I think original Nokia parts would cost a bomb plus they would charge high labour charge. I assumed it would be RM200+

last time my phone also got dead pixels.. Tat phone shop say if wan repair, roughly rm150. Tat time i no money, so din change. But amazingly, after few months later, the lcd become no dead pixels d.. The liquid inside the screen automatically cover back the dead pixels.. Hehe.. But now my phone cant shake too hard, or else the dead pixels wil reappear.. N disappear after i put there few days.. Hmmm..

o.O Magic? I really can't stand with the death pixels of mine. Its getting bigger and bigger. I afraid it will turn the whole screen.

Since your phone is less than 1 year, why don't you send in for warranty claim?
*
Because my phone is AP set. Just now went to Nokia Care Center and got my LCD screen replaced for RM166 within 2 hours.

why so expensive man its not even touch screen.. =/

What to do, they(Nokia Care Center) sure cut throat one. Better than sending to those unreliable repairing shops. They will sure swap non original parts to the phone.

Hi there...did anyone managed to install Ovi Maps 3.3? As far as I know, our phone cannot support this latest version of Maps due to its requirement of Symbian OS 9.3 right? Sorry if this question had been repeated. Oh by the way, just bump into the recent post of you guys using sunglobal battery....how much roughly it cost for one? Thanks. =)

Hi people. It's been a long time since I posted something at this forum. Proud owner of Nokia N82. And it had been serving me well for 2 years without major problem. biggrin.gif

But recently, I found out on my Web browser right, once I cleared "All" Privacy data that includes History, Cache, Cookies, Passwords. By right all the history should be cleared once I pressed Clear privacy data -> All. This time around the history of certain websites I went before had not being erased. In addition, it goes to Auto Boomarks and I tried deleting it and set the bookmarks to Off it still appearing those website I went before(when I pressed navigation options->Go to web address. Plus, the newer websites(other than the old ones) I went didn't goes into the new list of History.

So, should I do a hard reset on my phone or update to the latest firmware? icon_question.gif
