hi guys, just bought a used n82. However I can't seem to play any games(Ngage or the Snake game that came with the phone.) I can access the N-gage menu, but when I click on the game icon (fifa 2007) nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nope, only 512mb . I will give it a try later. Just want to confirm, its not a hardware issue rite, only software?? QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Aug 17 2009, 05:36 PM) Looks like the guy formatted the memory card or something. Your 2nd hand unit comes with the default Nokia 2GB micro-SDHC ? Try play other games. Or download the full/demo again and re-install ?

Yea, I just did it. Working already. Thanks bro QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Aug 18 2009, 12:02 PM) Yes, 99% is due to software/application not installed properly or some files missing. When you get a 2nd hand phone, normally it is better to restore the phone to factory default. Then you start from scratch to install/download whatever apps/software you want and configure your own personalise settings. BTW can i use the n82 as a media player and connect it to my TV to watch movies?? Whats the maximum resolution?

Install the Nokia PC Suite, once you have done that, you can double click on the file and it will auto install. You can also download the file directly via your handphone (wifi) and install it from there. QUOTE(todak @ Aug 19 2009, 08:31 PM) Noob question here. I just downloaded a bunch of themes to my desktop and transferred them via usb to the memory card on my n82. Now I have no idea how to access the memory card to install the themes or do you have to install them from the pc? Thanks. Added on August 19, 2009, 9:27 pmNope, if didn't have the video cable, very difficult to find fullset N82. But I plan to buy it. I have a 32" LCD TV, I will be testing it out (my friend lent me his video cable). Will let you guys how it goes. QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Aug 19 2009, 12:07 PM) You're welcome. Yes, you can, but resolution is 640x480 only if I remember correctly. Hence, it is consider normal TV (PAL/NTSC) quality only. Good if playback on 29" or lower TV. Totally cannot match the quality of HD/Full HD at 720p or 1080p. You can also view gallery pictures and play games also, but with the video cable dangling and the viewing is 90° rotated. Do you have the video cable with you ? I recall the initial batch comes with it. The latter batch does not come with video cable. This post has been edited by jags: Aug 19 2009, 09:27 PM
