I bought my N82 last year. It is a very good camera phone. Picture quality is great.

But I have had 2 main problems with it in less than a year:
1) Camera trigger mechanism easily damaged. The camera actually still functions, but the hardware switch that starts the 5MP camera breaks easily. There's also no software-based way to trigger the 5MP camera. This has happened to me twice. First time I sent to the Nokia care center for them to fix. Second time just happened and I haven't fixed yet.

2) Dead pixels. Less than a year I see a few rows of dead pixels already.

Perhaps it's because I'm a rough owner, I dropped the N82 a few times, but not very high. Like maybe a book length above ground.

Anyway the phone is good as long as you take care of it.

I'm going to send my N82 to repair, but I bought a new phone W995. So far I like it more than my N82.

Doesn't that turn on the front camera, and not the 5MP camera?
It only turns on the 5MP camera if it detects the shutter is open, and that's my problem, the hardware is not triggering that information.

Actually I didn't mean the shutter. I meant the lens cover switch. You know the one at the back of the phone?
Yeah when I slide it, it's supposed to launch the 5MP camera right?
If it's not working, the camera application will only launch the front camera, not the 5MP camera.

Can I have your suggestions on any phone that is better than N82?
In terms of every features. Yes, i mean everything; camera, speaker, sound quality, GPS, etc. ANY phone.
I'm sorry I know probably it's not the best place to ask here but I really want to have your views as N82 users.
I am still using N82 and I just want to compare other phones better than this phone.

T__T i getting n82 ori for rm1200.. is it worth ?

I have done all parts to unlock software amd malsinmap. The issue is my map does not show up? What img name shall be used for map for N82?
