try googling for some luck...iirc there are some methods to recover the security key, but if really cannot recover, then have to send back to shop to flash again, you will lost all your data inside the phone

Added on July 6, 2009, 8:33 amalso, anyone notice garmin GPS locking time is greatly reduced recently?

No reason for me to use Nokia Maps, can only locate myself, cannot get directions to a place whatsoever, at least cannot without paying.

Err hmm.gif not sure how to enable it and i don't really know wat is the diff A-GPS and GPS laugh.gif

I just
Download the Garmin Mobile XT
K3yG*n to register it and dump in the SW.UNL file and 2 maps file to the directory
Start my garmin and go to setting set the GPS receiver to the internal GPS instead of using bluetooth (defaulted)
and walla... it works like a charm

Oh ya... i also dump in some language voice into it.
pretty cool for that a chicks voice informing you to turn to which road and heading to which road thumbup.gif

A-GPS is chargeable every time your launch GMXT. Unless you don't mind the few cents each time.

menu >> tools >> settings >> general >> positioning >> positioning methods
then you can see whether Assisted GPS is enabled or not (ticked or no tick)

i heard they charge 8 cents everytime AGPS is activated

ohh... yes, A-GPS has been enable. and i've disable it and try just now with integrated GPS. yes it works no different from A-GPS which i tried both of them. when i'm under a highway bridge it will lost signal for a moment and it connect back very quick once it detected a signal. very impressive thumbup.gif

that is how it's suppose to work
sometimes integrated GPS takes around 4-5min (more or less) to lock signal
but with A-GPS, signal is locked within second..of course it depends on your location

Both. Clouds and rains contain water -> Oxygen (H2O). Oxygen is one of the molecules that absorb/disperse (whatever technical terms) RF signal.

Similiar concept like Ass-tro.
