I think no more new set manufacture. Brand new authorised are remaining new stock by dealers.

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Jun 10 2009, 08:58 PM) mine 3rd and 4th charge that time drain damn fast...but after this to charge, the battery is actually lasting long... Yes, I notice that too when online EDGE for 10-15 min. Even faster in 3G, about 5min, it become quite warm. Suddenly drop a few bars after that.i notice one thing, when our phone heats up(heavy usage), it will drain a lot faster, even faster then the original battery. Maybe the output is not that stable when temp is rather high.. anyway, the middle of my LCD suddenly colour distorted and now become black liao, and the affected getting bigger and bigger until this afternoon(i hope) my friend say it's pixel burn, my LCD still under warranty, should be able to claim right?? |

QUOTE(fongzai92 @ Jun 11 2009, 10:53 PM) How much is postage ? If COD, how much is petrol, parking, time, bus/train fare, etc ?Why not buy straight from LYP or wait PC Fair ? I remember cheapest I saw was about RM62-65 during last PC Fair. But for my standard, is either SanDisk or Kingston, about RM66-70, also during last PC Fair. |

That's why I rather spend a bit more for a branded and more likely reliable and trusted brands like SanDisk and Kingston.
Extra RM10-20 as compared to how much time wasted, data loss, headache, etc. if the card got problem. |

Update: 6th full discharge on my Sun Global 1800mAh battery.
Wed 12pm full charge Fri 7am - left 1 bar. Low battery warning at 11am. Fri 4pm full discharge 6th discharge = 52 hours (normal use) 5th discharge = 62 hours (normal usage, but final 1 bar test to maximum ~6 hours) 4th discharge = 68 hours (note: even less usage than 3rd discharge) 3rd discharge = 51 hours (note: less usage than previous) 2nd discharge = 44 hours only 1st discharge = 51 hours Comment: For new battery, the low-battery can last longer. With very low usage, seems like the battery can reach 60 hours. Need to monitor further. Note: 99% on GSM (not UMTS) |

I'm tempted to get N97 as primary phone and keep N82 as secondary phone. Currently I have 2 SIM cards, but only use one.

For me to upgrade, the reasons are more on:
1) Getting a 2nd phone for my 2nd SIM card. 2) Still prefer Nokia. I use more for work/income purpose rather than games. 3) Prefer something with touchscreen, larger LCD screen than N82. Something new to play with. 4) Additional QWERTY keypad is an extra. 5) More Mass Storage [C:\] Phone Memory My SMS count is 3000+ already. Now storing in Memory Card. Previous 10k+ SMS used up all N82 Phone Memory and nearly hang my unit. Can't even do backup or move SMS. Deleted all and start from fresh again. Well, unless my boss decide to |

I stick to Nokia due to closeness with PC, i.e. use as dial-up modem. 2nd is stability, although the newer Symbian S60 (v1-v3) is not that stable as compared to S40.
Very rare I use h/p to view video or listen music. I use it mainly for calls, sms, browse internet for work purpose. Then link to PC as dial-up modem for 2-10 hours a day. If peak period, can be daily for 20-30 days like that. I have not tried with other phones if can act as modem as often as that. Occasional GPS, seldom camera. Average 5 pictures a month. |

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Jun 20 2009, 04:13 AM) hmm..i feel the battery start to degrade in performance oso More than half-way in 10th discharge. 3 bars left.can only last me around 3 days with below medium usage Sat 12:30am full charge 2am-3:15am (75 min) online as PC modem using GSM. UMTS no signal Sat 10:30pm (YES, same day. Not 1 week later) - 3 bars left Total usage so far: 21 hours usage. Almost similiar as my original 1050mAh battery performance, but this 1800mAh is a new battery, hence it should over perform. Estimate it will last me till Sun 12pm-6pm, about 36 hours usage. Will update tomorrow/Monday. |

Open YouTube in N82 or PC ?
It may be due to Internet bandwidth. If on PC, you can wait till it fully downloaded, then only play the video. It should be smooth. |

I think YouTube will auto-convert to its intended size or HD during upload. It is not 70MB when stored in YouTube, but much smaller. However, to replay YouTube, normally need a steady and fast bandwidth.
