HD8200 is HD82. Just that HD8200 is designated name for North America. This projector is a beast!

htkaki, which one do u think is better? The Panasonic AE-3000 or Optoma HD82? I read both got good reviews except that the HD82 got some minor defects on some units.

HD82 how much? If more than 14k then might as well get JVC HD350/RS10.

I have auditioned this beast, HD82 at one the friend's house introduced by my friend. He has a dedicated HT room to accommodate it. Stunning is the word when we watched Tsai Chin Live in HK. It gives you the live feel that you are actually in concert with superb details.

Using this 1080p projector to watch concert is simply an awesome experience.

I am surprised to find there are quite a number of true audiophiles in Kuching. They just not willing to show-up in this forum, what a pity. Yes, he alone has extended a special HT room at the back of the detached house. The whole system including Hifi system costing more than RM100k!!! VERY ELITE. Even he used PS Audio AC power to filter the current and the noise harvester at the plug. These alone already costing more than RM10k! Very insane.

According to him, this giant projector is real heavy and can self-adjust to room lighting.....I just drool and jaw dropping when bluray disc is played. I wish I could take down the pic and show you all. Trust me. everything is ultra elite. If u can bring a chick inside, I am pretty sure she will melt into your arm. drool.gif
