lol simply coz dota is a team game?
whats the point of playing without proper teamwork from your team? the answer is pointless!
lacking of 0.5 % of your participation warrants an instant loss, its that intense
but true for alot newbies, before they manage to learn, they will be discouraged by alot scoldings etcs..lol
for me i dun mind playing with newbies, but some of them juz like to nose pick while you're playing hard...man no conscience ..back to

and the dude above, for wow u dun need to rely on people as much as dota, you can nose pick and take your sweet time in guild wars n raids and at the worse u get is pked

in real world, all juniors get bullied one
when u go to a basketball game, if u sux u will get scolded by team mates
when u go to office work, if you do wrongly u will get scolded / fired by boss
when at home you didn't off the tv, you get scolded by parents

all these are real facts in the world, so why did we think playing games are any different? Simply coz we are trying to have fun right?
but well thats about it la, sometimes we we're juz trying to have fun but didn't realise we hinder or prevent others from having fun as well.
the issue u said above happens also la, so when u join d game make sure its "newbie friendly"

btw when i started, i also kena scold often! but need to remember, if people don't scold, how will u grow? this applies the same in the 3 situation i mentioned above too, am i wrong?..so no worry juz play the game

in WOW, if u need 20 people for the raid, u choose from the population of the whole Warcraft server. But in Dota, yes u can only ask for help from 4 of your team mates (5 including you), get my point? Do you have choices besides these 4?
