well... for me, dotA should play in a team with average skill players.
because THESE players know What to do, When to do and Where to do
[ maybe some of u wont understand what im saying here but nvm -__- ]
or maybe some of the newbies will get scold blablabla... its normal =)

for me, I think that the main reason why people gets emo really quickly in dota is that the timespan of the game. If you see that your team is feeding in like the first 10 minutes of the game, you know that you're going to suffer waiting for the game to end XD

of coz lar the easiest way out is to leave but that's not what we want to do. Playing for nearly an hour while knowing that you're going to lose is not fun.

When they emo, they leave game = surrender. I like it!

Anger management is not taught in school.

nowadays i dun realli so around scolding ppl unless they acted like arse...for example...when i din realli say anything...the opponent start raining me with
"proness" of his own..and started saying i m noob...and later he ended up dying to me and den started accusing me of hack...and so..it will end bloody mess...lols...

Those dotards always think that they are pro enough then start to scold others. Whenever they die, they will scold teammates for not informing hero missing and didnt not come to help. Sometimes you still need to alert also wat.. sigh.. Furthermore, opponents sometime will get scold too such as hacking or watsoever.. walao.. just a game wat.. sit down play and enjoy it. Im not saying im pro enuff im still in learning progress why dont we play and enjoy in da same time? Stop scolding around man.. duhh!

My opinion,

People cannot control their anger is because of their low EQ or unrealistic and high expectations, or even simpler, the greed to win and to show off. This kind of people can be noticed easily. When they are owning, they will say something like "NOOB!" or anything else (seldom say so I don't know). When they are losing, they will start scolding their teammates and say people (opponents) using cheats or hacks!

They scare to lose so much, because they forget this is only a game. Even in your life you will fail sometimes, what to matter so much if it is just a game that serves a purpose to make people happy?

DotArdS are these kind of people lo. When teammate die, scold noob, when they die, scold ppl noob no inform etc etc. When he kills, he say dat person noob, when team ks, he scolds them noob, when he KS he is not noob.

Well, one or more of this will define your average dotard, many more other reason, but I believe you have seen it before.

Anger problem, easy, they lan c, don't want lose, if lose cannot because of them, must be due to teamate.If they noob, also cannot because of them, because opponent aim him, teamate no help/signal/warn etc. Typical, normally I just keep quite, and enjoy the game.
I wonder can the next patch have one extra thing? Mute a certain player. Cuz sometime they are just too annoying

strangers will ALWAYS spam other to giv them the better hero, when they feed, they leave, causing the game harder to cont coz opponent is too fat by then, own team lost the very last hope of wining. end up patient player become devil. i too hoping a mute function soon, getting tired of player spaming nonsense haiz

7 years ago I joined my friends for a DotA session. Seeing as there were only 3 of us we decided to join a PuG. So this was my first time playing with strangers and those bloody dotards scolded us for this and that and basically turned me off the game for good. I never played another game of DotA to this day.

haha.. i think they are taking this game too seriously... maybe they put too much effort in trying to win and new player (noob) still have no idea what to do make them more frustrated lol... ohh and 1 more thing for thread starter... this game is not only bout farming... the 1 that scold u got point u nid to find time to farm and not farming throughout the game.. you should see whether your hero is a late game hero or early game... if early game, u should be gangbanging with your teammates instead of trying to farm to get better items
