2.3% ? last time they gave 1.99%.... end of last year iinm.

what do you think with that 48k price tag? was it ridiculous or just fine?
i guess its juz fine, its not too cheap, n it isnt too pricey either.. in terms of class, its the same class as the viva, but priced more 2wards the myvi.. 4 some people that could be a put-off.. but it is a better car if u compare it 2 the viva.. the interior's much nicer, feels more solid, n it has a 4 star euro ncap rating, meaning its one of the safest small car u can buy in our country..

things i dont like bout it.. well, in terms of acceleration its not very good (wat do u expect wit a 1.1 litre engine thats tuned 2wards fuel economy), but the engine does have some good points.. its peak torque comes very early in the rev range, which makes it a great city car.. n the engine is much quieter n sounds nicer than the viva.. space in the back is quite cramped, i adjust the driver seat 2 my driving position, n the resulting legroom behind it was really really tight.. n i also hate the fact that they rip out the abs n airbags out of the new models, n replacing em instead wit rear electric windows n electric side mirrors..

Bro,

How do you compare i10 with myvi?
hmm.. lets see, well they myvi is a better car overall.. principally becoz its got a bigger interior n it is better 2 drive..

in terms of value 4 money, id put my money on the myvi.. not becoz i have one, but becoz its the more value 4 money car.. put it this way, the i10 is in the same league as a viva, but priced similarly as the myvi.. so u do the math..

yes ,i still consider buy myvi or i10 ...
i plan buy i10 full spec ,RM49k OTR(discount 3k) ,but the price is RM46k ,it is alsmost same as Myvi Standard Auto ...haiz...myvi space more better, engine cc more better ...

but i like i10 cute design ..confuse...
well like i said, the myvi is a much better drive.. the engine in the myvi might be juz a liitle bigger in terms of displacement, but it gives much better acceleration n pickup, especially off the line.. i tested an i10 off the line at a set of traffic lights, n it kinda struggles 2 keep up..

if equipments is an issue 4 u, y not get a premium myvi instead?? its bout 49k, the same price ure paying for the i10 anyway (without the discount of coz)..

Thanks for your insights.

Im looking it a bit different way:

1. Built Quality: I personally feels that i10 quality is much more superior than myvi

2. I presume i10 is safer than myvi (4-star Euro NCAP body, dual SRS airbags and anti-lock brakes)

3. Planning to use this car as long as it can run. Would it be cheaper to maintain compare to myvi?

Based on No 1 & 2, i dont mind paying the price smile.gif
yeah, i do feel that the interior material is a bit better than any local cars..

I own an I10 too, the only thing i'm not satisfied is it seems like underpower... pickup quite bad. But the good things are sound system cool, interior better than myvi and viva, sound proofing good.
yeah, underpower is kinda big issue 4 me too.. but i guess its fine 4 lady drivers who dont really care at such matter n juz like it 4 the looks..

Hi,

I have been thinking of really getting this car lately. But have been put off by its low resale value.

Another thing is... are the spare parts for this car expensive ? As in compared to local made cars like perodua myvi or proton saga ?

As well as its maintanance ?

Cheers.
im not really sure bout the low resale value, but it isnt very surprising as korean brands tends 2 depreciate quite badly in our country.. maintenance wise, the SA did told me that servicing, labor n parts is gonna cost significantly more than local cars.. but he said that it is due 2 parts r fully imported, n of a high quality.. he said that eventhough it costs more, it'll last longer.. truth be told, i dont really believe that part..

Added on March 30, 2010, 9:15 ambtw, my fren juz got hers, in white.. took bout 2 weeks..

Hi all, my brother interested on this car but his height is about 185 cm.

May I know any tall owner here can give some opinions on the comfort level for tall driver?

Thx in advance.
im 182cm, n its ok 4 me.. but of coz, 4 tall drivers u have put the seat all the way back, n in the i10 that really leaves practically no space at all 4 rear passenger sweat.gif

yup, for fc i dont deny it...

the brochure really stated wrong fc, 17.2km/l for auto?
at most i got was 14km/l!

but tbh, compare to kelisa, it have the same fc, maybe im ignorance, but i dont think its worst or even the same as myvi auto?..
really?? i used 2 use an auto kelisa 4 couple of weeks b4, FC is definitely much much much much better than the i10.. as 4 myvi auto, im using one now.. n again, although not as gud as kelisa's, but still much much better than the i10..

I just want to ask, some reviewers(not all) complain about the i10 on its motorway performance, have any of you who drove the i10 on our highways ever felt you are fighting more than you should with it?
well, not a highway per se, but i have drove it on a long straight wide road where everybody seems 2 blast more than a 100kmh on it, n yeah, i struggle 2 keep up wit the pace..

mind u though, this is wit the old 1.1, never driven the newer 1.2 kappa..
