I've disabled both the voicemail and missed called alert. So the phone will keep on ringing for 1 minute before it goes off.

If you're in a meeting, set it to vibrate laaa...or simply just reject the call will do .

Hi guys, i received a msg from Digi and i'm a lil bit confused on what r they saying

Thank you for using Digi,
you're now entitled for a FREE personal accident insurance worth RM10000!
Just SMS INS YES to 2000 or call 0162211800 to get this.

RM10000 insurance for free???  rclxub.gif  btw the msg is from Digi

Can any1 here tell me what is going on? thanks
It's 1 year free personal insurance worth RM10k by AIG. Just send back INS YES to 2000 and they'll reply you with the policy reference number should you are eligible for it. One of the criteria for prepaid and postpaid is you need to be with DiGi for at least 3 months. For postpaid, only the main line entitled.

QUOTE(zxc999 @ Aug 11 2009, 08:53 PM)
i got question here. how do i check wat prepaid plan im using now??  icon_question.gif
coz i plan to subscribe the super long life.
is there any charges for upgrading to the latest plan??
You can do it via *128#. Or just call in to the helpline and the helpful consultants will be happy to assist you. Changing to the latest DiGi Prepaid RM1 plan will cost you RM3 for once only. No monthly charges.

QUOTE(CuteSanSan @ Aug 11 2009, 09:04 PM)
nowadays in the society FREE is not free..haha..btw the insurance covers me in terms of?  hmm.gif
When DiGi said it's free. It's really free. Should you are interested to view the coverage policy, just call in to the helpline and they can email it to you smile.gif

QUOTE(idoblu @ Aug 12 2009, 03:07 PM)
hi all,

I am using Digi Prepaid under the Beyond plan. I hardly used my digi number. Now mostly just for SMS. I dont have any friends or family using Digi either.
Need to ask these -

1. What prepaid plans are available now? I check the Digi site but found one only simply named Digi Prepaid
2. Which plan is right for me base on the above about my usage

Thanks in advance icon_question.gif
If you don't really use your line and you just keep it for the sake of keeping, do subscribe for Super Long Life which will cost you Rm30 and doing so will extend your validity for 1 year and your line will be active for 1 year without needing you to topup every month to stay active. Bear in mind you need to migrate from Beyond to DiGi Prepaid Rm1 should you wish to subscribe to Super Long Life and the migrating will cost you Rm3 for one time only.

QUOTE(techmostwanted @ Aug 13 2009, 03:40 AM)
wanna ask, about the digi RM1 plan,is it free to change over to this plan once i topped up rm30?
Changing to DiGi RM1 plan will cost you RM3.

Can I extend ringing time? Before this I'm a celcom and maxis user. With celcom, ringing time is about 40+ seconds, same as maxis. But with digi, it is only 30 seconds (that's after i deactivate voicemail, if voicemail still activated, it is only ringing for 20 seconds)

So, can I? I mean, if I call digi cs, will they be able to do anything regarding this?

I have sent them feedback through Digi OCS and they replied:

Dear Firdaus,

Thank you for your email.

With regards to your enquiry, the standard incoming ringing period is 20 seconds. However, you are able to extend the duration provided Missed call alert and Voicemail service is inactive.

Kindly revert to confirm if you would like to deactivate the above mentioned services.

It is our privilege to have you as our customer and we look forward to serve you better. Thank you for your continued support towards DiGi.

Please call us at 0162211800 or connect to D’Chat for an immediate response should you have any further inquiries.

Thank you for choosing DiGi.

Warmest Regards,
Subhadra

They blast the SMS to all DiGi subscribers, getting the SMS doesn't mean that you're eligible for the PA. smile.gif

Simple

Celcom and maxis is using GSM900 = Good for coverage and penetrating walls but not as stable as GSM1800

Digi is using GSM1800 = Good for stability but bad for coverage and penetrating walls

if 80% of the time u sms to your fnf then its not worthy it lor. If your sms and calls to normal numbers exceed RM1 a day then u switch to RM1 plan.

I think it will deduct all your freebies beforehand.
