Just realised that info on the dg family thingy is up on the website:
http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions/dgfamily/index.do

Wonder why it's called 'dg' instead of 'digi'.

All DiGi's postpaid plan, DiGi is using DG. Like DG30, DG50 and etc.

Hi all Digi's fans smile.gif  just figured out this thead this morning. Ive been using Digi prepaid for 5 years & what can I say is Digi's rock & never let me down with its plan  rclxm9.gif
I have a few questions:
i) the fuyooh plan, is it still there for me to change to?
ii)my prepaid usage currently has been around $50-$60 per month, using sms(to other telco) more than calling. is it better for me to change to postpaid?
*
i) nope u cant join Fuyoh already... but yeah... SMS 7 sen flat to all telco ... isnt so cheap...
ii) join Hotlink Youth Plan SMS 5 sen flat to other telco and 1 sen to Maxis

i'm thinking to switch to digi postpaid as my current prepaid usage are about 100+-. their free call/sms between main and sup line quite interest me. i'm currently with maxis and want to do the switch via maybank2u. so when i need to tell digi that i want to use dg50 and add my gf no as my sup?

About digi family prepaid, the RM15 commitment fee can it be used? Also do you automatically get 1 month validity with that RM15?

yes..
i think so..
but its more easier if u go do it at digi centre itself..
and the supp line to get those free sms call and mms make sure u choose the digi30 supp line..

It is prepaid credit, yeah can use.
About validity, I'm not that sure. You gotta check with DiGi.

It is not DG30. DG30 is an independent plan of DiGi postpaid that cannot register for supplementary line.
This supplementary plan is known as 1 Family. Please take note on the term. smile.gif

ilovelyn made a mistake for saying that as DG30, actually no. It is known as 1Family.
About your case, just get yourself registered first via Maybank2u, then after everything is done and your line is activated, both you and your girlfriend just hop into any DiGi dealer and proceed with the supplementary procedure.
You cannot just tell DiGi about your intention to register a supplementary line, you need to go with her to do the registration together.

Added on July 18, 2009, 1:19 amThis is the general procedure of registering DiGi postpaid via M2U:
How to switch to DiGi Postpaid via M2U and get rewarded

1. Login to your M2U account
2. Fill in the simple MNP (Mobile Number Portability) request form in "Mobile Banking" page.
3. Insert your new DiGi SIM card when your current line stops working. (It will be delivered to your address)
4. Enjoy a total rebate of RM35 over 3 months
