Hi all

I bought the xbox360 Play and Charge kit (with Battery A that comes with it) some days back, around one year+ ago. It was working ok until I bought the Fast Charge Kit and tried to charge the battery that came with the Play and Charge kit. It would not charge, no light at all on the Fast Charge kit, but there is no problem with the battery that comes with the Fast Charge Kit (Battery B).

Then I plugged the power cord onto the xbox controller with Battery A, the LED will shows red for a minute or so, then turned green, then no light. It just will not charge. I plugged it on my Xbox360, PC and even an adapter used to charge gadgets via USB, still the same symptoms. Anyone has any ideas what was the problem and does Battery A compatible with the Fast Charge Kit?

Another thing is, I charged Battery B with the Fast Charge Kit, it finished charging very fast, around 20mins and 30mins, but the battery would be very very hot...is this normal ?

Dead battery? Pretty common and disturbing occurrence which I experienced before as well.. Just stick with good old AA batteries, my Eveready last more than a month now

rechargeable AAs much cheaper and lasts longer too.

yeah.. mine also lasts about a month on 1 charge.
