QUOTE(taysir17 @ May 21 2009, 12:56 PM) hi there im interested in buying an xbox..but im currently unsure of which 1 to buy, either the arcade version of 60gb version you dont need hard disk space to run games on xbox360. its purely for saving games and loading mp3s to it. i have a 20gb version and i doubt i have even used 1% of the space.im wondering if i have to install games before playing on the Xbox like PS3 or would the games i play lag because of the lack of HDD space? any reply is greatly appreciated |

QUOTE(taysir17 @ May 21 2009, 12:56 PM) hi there im interested in buying an xbox..but im currently unsure of which 1 to buy, either the arcade version of 60gb version u don't have to install game to play, but it is most recommended n better if install before play to prolong ur drive life span, quieter gameplay n slightly faster loading on some games. im wondering if i have to install games before playing on the Xbox like PS3 or would the games i play lag because of the lack of HDD space? any reply is greatly appreciated The games wouldn't lag bcos of the lack of space bcos there is space reserved for game cache, if it lag, u might need to clear the cache, that all. If u decided to go ahead without hdd, then make sure u buy the one with built in memory for game save. |

Get the HDD. You'll end up getting it anyway after awhile.

I have the 60gb version and I've filled my hard disk with well over 40gb of stuff . Games alone takes up about 16gb of space . And I think its only 3 games on my hard disk
