Hi, some freeware will constantly sucking your data usage bandwidth so try to clear some of them. The first 2 days I got my phone the usage was whopping 90MB! After deleting the freeware and usage become normal.

Yeah... 3G charges in Malaysia is insane... My friend sign up for the iphone package in SG aound $36 per month with 12GB data!

Something pretty interesting happened today... like a few pages back I'd mentioned that my first month bill data charges was a whopping RM180+ because I was not aware my cut-off date is on 24th of every month. I registered on the 17th of Dec in this 7 days time my data usage is more than 150MB.

Since this is my first month using Maxis so I thought maybe I should try my luck to ask for some discount. So I wrote them an email saying that I was not aware of my cut-off and my data usage was overboard so please give me some rebate. Few days later which is today, surprisingly they called and said they will give RM100 discount on the data charges!

Checked on the *100# service menu, indeed there is a -RM100 in my account. So at least Maxis is doing something good while there line quality is extremely bad...
