QUOTE(ah_keh @ Nov 16 2010, 11:01 PM) Could it be that the RM130.48 is your SMS data? I have just called and complain regarding my bill, the operator said I subscribed a 1 day pass but instead I subscribed a 2 hours pass, how the hell can I exceed 100MB within the 2 friggin hours? No hardcore surfings just few chats from WhatsApp. as per ur statement,ur being charged more due to its pro-rated,u can notice tat from the activation date comparing to ur statement period

guys,just to share some info:
for maxis data plans (regardless 100MB,iData or iValue etc.)
for 1st statement you guys rec some might be charged for extra usage, this is because of the pro-rated
i take owikh84's case,he activate the data package on 25/10 till 06/11 (only about 13 days : 100MB/30days x 13 days = about 44MB is owikh84 was entitled but he definitely exceeded the limit he was entitled )

a lot of people out there not aware of the pro-rated like u do.i mean if think logically,if u activated the svc for 10 days but u expect the telco to give u full data for 1 mth?
as for unlimited,it's only available for certain groups of customers(corp/SME,EBD etc)

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Nov 21 2010, 10:18 AM) noted that when I went to check at Maxis CS yesterday. what I thought previously was I will be charged RM18 from 25/10 till 25/11 within 100MB limit. from ur above statement means I will be entitled 100MB if I activated the data package from 6th monthly. I believe your statement date aka BC/bill cycle is 7th,so any service that you wish to activate, remember to activate any service on 7th

ic3johan and 4evernelson : u notice there's an -ve sign at the amt due?
it means u made a pymt (perhaps ur line was barred and u arranged for a pymt to reactivate it again)
Added on November 29, 2010, 6:41 ammaxis users : just a simple way to understand more on ur statement
1)u nid to know when is ur bill cycle/statement date (from this u'll know ur billing period)
2)for the data package as well as the call package will always be pro-rated for the 1st statement u receive after activation or changes done (eg : chg data plan, register new plan)
i'm sure a lot of users r not aware of these 2 main reasons why their bill charges went sky high
if u guys using smartphones will be more convenient (can always reset the usage statistics following ur statement date)
