Please do email MCMC and CMC forum.. Even I still waiting for 1st bill I already emailing than and raise a issues of unfair practice of Maxis.
What's really unfair for us is
1) you can't check how much you already use the data. This information suppose to be available to consumer when consumer ask for. Do you know it's wrong for a seller to sell a product without a price tag? This is even worse.
2) The charges for the over quota is really outrageous. If they can give you 1Gb for let's said RM 50 for ivalue 1 (RM50 goes to call + sms). It's about RM 0.0005 /10KB. How come they can charge 100 times (100000%) or 0.05/10KB for over the quota. That's really CUT THROAT.
No body ever got mad when there are over their bundle minutes right? Because the rate is about 10-30% higher compare to bundle minutes.
As for you issue, you did suppose to get 66MB/dayx4 days = 265MB. This is another problem with pro-rate. I believe if you ever make a scene they will waive it. The problem is, you will never know upfront how much you can use for the 1st Bill. of course you will be using a lot's for a few days coz of app installation, trying out, friend trying out and so on. Thinking you got 2GB of data. BUT you are not. Unless the give specifically your billing date + how much you can you then it's different story. They never mention about this pro-rate things. Unless you working in billing stuff you will never know this.
If the government can see the reasoning for 1 sen round up/down (1 to 2 sen extra = consumer gain, 3 - 4 sen = merchant gain). They should see about this pro rate allocation. They should be something like this
Billing within 1-14 days after register = 1 month no bill, brought to 2nd Bill. So you will paid 1.5x more in 2nd bill but you get your 1.5x allocation (still pro rate la).
Billing within 15-30 = like current practice. Pro-rate the 1st bill.
BTW still waiting for my 1st Bill.. Hopefully no ISHOCK.
