sigh. i usually receive an sms from maxis when my data usage is about to reach 500MB (I am on the 500MB plan), so this has successfully prompt me to stop using my data until the next billing period.

however, this month, by the time the sms reached me, it said I have exceeded 501MB. and when I checked my bill, it is a whopping total of RM400++!! (My normal bill is less than RM150 permth). In this case, they have failed to promptly or reliably missed to sms me on the 'warning' before the data usage actually exceed limit.

this is the 2nd time it happened. I felt cheated in a way, but no complain can waive or reduce the amount i've to pay.

i hope maxis will come up with cheaper plans and a more reliable sms notification service of all of its data usage customers.
