The WIFI strenght are normally very good, full 3 line. But am just wondering, for certain location (with no WIFI), i couldn't get 3G connection, and it was connected to EDGE (coz i can see from the E sign) will this affect the charges? I thought with Edge u will only get slower speed, is this the case?

Can use the "enable 3G" setting to off the data usage?
setting <  general < network

Or for this option, 3G is off but Edge will be on?

i think digi just became the next maxis. soon, everyone will be experiencing high data usage issues. dont know what they did all of a sudden. haihzz

still it should be my choice since i am paying for it. they cannot just change it like that.

So that's mean those iPhone which couldn't activate cellular network before and all of them activated now? Or just me facing this problem?

hi everyones. i just got my first data charges burned my pocket just now. my situation is like this. today morning suddenly my digi postpaid account achieved credit limit rm280 from data charge. omg i dont even set up my apn gprs setting at my iphone 3gs. how come they charge for it ? when im waiting the customer service at digi center. i met a guy, he is also iphone user. he told me that eventhough u dont set up the apn settings, suft net only use wifi WITHOUT turning off the "DATA" in sbsettings. they still will charge u. everytime after iphone reboot will turn on the "DATA". and he told me that get the " AUTO OFF DATA TOGGLE" from cydia. however i dont manage to get This. did u guys using it ? thanks.

Hi guys, i am on maxis 1.5 gig data plan. i use my phone to internet teether and overuse above the cap and now my bill came rm1000. Can i do anything about this? I was very careful not to go above the cap but for some reason it counted so on their side.

4. switch to digi, dont have to worry about overcharge after cap.

Nope you can't. the plan is only for 1 phone number. but if you are using iphone 4, you can use it as modem for internet connection (internet tethering) and chop your streamyx if you're using one at home. that would save you $$

I thought it's free replacement for microsim? 

Just remember, eventhough u'll using wifi, 3g or edge still running at the back. Just find out after install dataman.

this is for telecommunication .. how about for credit card? I kene once .. close card but they still allow auto debit .. no 1 call me my card cannot be closed .. I just know when I check the statement after 3 months! ..
