im using the maxis 500mb quota and i dont even exceed it.

my fren used up 3gb quota of data in one night as well. so im not surprised. but he used it to download blu ray movies.

with normal surfing forum , facebook , msn ......will it exceed 1G per month actually???

Never..with that usage you'll be struggling to reach even half!

with 30 day almost 5 hour per day of MSN / Facebook / surf forum also never reach 1G? =.="

the 1st wise thing i did was , called up customer service and asked about it , they checked and my account was fine , usage up to few mb only , an unbilled amount was RM4.xx

Friend, your usage is actually 8Gb (combined) not only 4Gb......something is very wrong with your phone.....like doing something on its own.

I don't think any apps out thre can do 8Gb transfer in that span of duration. Probably your phone is showing some random figure...just reset the stats n see what happens next.....oh ya u should check your data usage with telco just to be safe.

Well alrdy reset the stats so far so good but as mentioned if the phone acting itself on both transfer which amounts to 8gb my battery wouldn t last that long.

Perhaps communication with some alien lolz

It depends on your billing cycle. If the billing date is less than a month, the charges will be prorated.

This is a really large amount. Did you download attachments via email or something? Could it be that your "push" feature is on and mail is being downloaded by default?

My data counter is too showing 4GB sent and 4GB received overnight, or simply in the short 7 hours while I am asleep. 4GB seems to be the max for data counter. In the past, I have read Maxis will not be able to tell you your data usage before they finalised the statement, is it still true?

Previously bought 3GS DiGi with 2 years contract, having spotty network coverage and slow Internet, especially indoor. No offence, it could be just the areas I visited frequently are having problem.
