Yes, that is correct. 0-40 hz from the front channel will be send to the sub. As for the LFE (.1 channel), you set to 100 Hz, so any signal above 100 Hz will be cut off. so your sub is getting signal from 0-40 Hz from the front and 0-100 Hz from the LFE channel. Your sub always get signal from 2 sources, the .1 channel and also the 5 other channels. Low pass filter are set for the 5 channels while the high pass filter is set for the .1 channel.
