Question, if I want a sub for both music and HT, which one do I consider? What is the price range for these little monsters? I don't want something that goes "ka-booooom"!

QUOTE(pierreye @ May 28 2009, 06:35 PM) For musical sub, normally you need to get sealed sub such as Velodyne DD. Thanks, and this DD would set me back by how much? Ok I just found out the prices...lucky I had nothing in my mouth, or I would have choked and upped everything in my bowels! This post has been edited by podrunner: May 28 2009, 08:27 PM

May I know how much the velo cht-10r is selling for now? I read in the old thread about Paradigm being very good for both music and HT - any details about this? Much thanks in advance.

Aces, one quick question....is it necessary to switch off the subwoofer? Do you all just leave it on power "on/auto" 24/7? Thanks.

QUOTE(jchong @ Jul 2 2009, 01:39 PM) Hey, how many of you use a Y-splitter cable to connect to your sub? Any place to buy locally? Or do you buy from online shops? Using QED's, definitely added a few more dbs...was just trying it, then had to buy it...
