Hmmm I think I answered my question on what sub to get. Check out the comprehensive subwoofer test below http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/sub...urer-model.htmlAnd check out the SVS PB12-NSD http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/sub...12-nsd-new.htmlIt goes down to 15Hz with ease!! Now that's what I call a subwoofer! Added on June 12, 2009, 4:26 pmForgot to add that even the velodyne spl1200 doesn't go as low. Check out the test on it. http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/sub...00-mk2-new.htmlThis post has been edited by elmer: Jun 12 2009, 04:26 PM

Wow very good price. Anyway I will be going down to Singapore this saturday to pick up my pb12-NSD. Hopefully its as good as they claim to be. QUOTE(htkaki @ Jun 16 2009, 02:23 PM) I didn't poison you guys, right? But, it is indeed a GOOD sub, if not excellent. Probably around RM3K - RM3.4k range. Still waiting for final confirmation.

I'm staying in Klang. You are always free to come by and do the comparison. But I live in a condo now and don't have a dedicated HT room. Not really good for testing. I will be moving to my new place by September and there will be a dedicated room for my HT then. QUOTE(s6xs9x @ Jun 16 2009, 05:50 PM) New? elmer where do you stay. if you're in KL we can compare them later on.

Just got my PB12-NSD from Singapore on Saturday. Had to bring an SUV to pick it up. The thing is HUGE!!! I can't imagine how the ultra and the plus series will look since its bigger. I now have a very nice coffee table in my house.
I tested it yesterday and it brought me to another level of movie watching. You really ARE in the movie now. I didn't know there was so much bass in all the movies and it provided a heightened feeling of being engulfed by sound even though I'm in an open living hall. Just like SVS claimed, it was rattling my sliding doors during the strong bass scenes. I can hear my neighbours complaining now.... hahaha.
It was a good haul from Singapore. My 2 friends brought back a Marantz 6003 amp, a pair of Dynaudio book shelf, Dynaudio centre and a Marant 8002 CD player. Customs were to busy talking to one another... hahaha.
