Greetings fellow seniors..,

the purpose of opening this thread is to give info to noob to xbox about xbox.....and i want you seniors and experts give other opinions(if you the person who like to share)to....

If you want to know its a jasper....at the outside of the box......

1)M$ has made a hole to scan the xbox.....beside the serial number is stated 12.1A...if you see this grab the xbox and run...lolz.....the important thing is you see the 1A cause only jasper use less electric.....

2)there are stated code at the xbox box....example:0853...that means year 2008, 53 weeks....

If you want to know its a jasper...at the iside of the box...

1)the manufacture date is stated at the back of the console example:2008-12-17...

2)the end of the power cable is plastic while the others are steel....

3)at the huge lorry power brick is stated 12.1A and also 150W.....if it is other than this is not a jasper.....

Don't!carry the xbox while a disc is inside it.... or the disc will be scratch.....

AFAIK.....you have to play original games to play live and have to buy the gold membership card.....and the silver membership is free.....absolutely free....

and do not buy the nyko intercooler cauze it will damage your xbox....

ps/the nyko intercooler will damage your xbox if its share its power with the xbox....

i don't think you need to use an ori game to play online...

m$ detect if the drive is flashed, but it doesn't ALWAYS detect the drive..

and as for nyko intercooler.. i've heard ppl talked about how it damages your console, but in what way?

the only way i know is that the plastic connector melted onto your console's power port, thus damaging it.

agree with gunblade, u don't need ori game to play online, but no matter u use ori or ahem game, there 'll always be risk getting ban if ur xbox is modded, there're many factors that causing ur xbox to be ban, n no concrete info on how M$ detect it. I think the highest risk is play the ahem game online before it official release date. Well .... shouldn't go any deeper bcos such discussion it's not allowed here.

For nyko intercooler, if i'm not mistaken, the earliest model caused the console to be overheated due fan location not strategically placed n blocked the ventilation n caused the heat to built up within the xbox. After that, they redesigned n come out with differrent model to solve that problem, but with this newer model, ur xbox manage to last longer for u to witness the power connector for nyko intercooler to melted into the xbox. But, the latest nyko intercooler ts already rectify all those flaws n so far no complain reported except 1 or 2 cases of probably mal-function of "tempsmart".

IMO, the best way to place your xbox 360 is to put it horizontally and a slightly elevated platform that wont interfere with the ventilation holes on the sides/above/under the 360. Vertical position will impede a portion of the ventilation. An example:

.... _____________________
....|.........................................| <-- XBOX 360
....|____________________ |
.............|......................|
.............|___________| <-- A box or something

Also, the power brick should be in the open since its prone to overheating as well. And as with all electronic devices. Dust is your enemy.
