QUOTE(noelcantona7 @ Jul 19 2009, 08:19 PM) i assume you have a decent degree as well. haha.. i am in IT too (but not in programming) 3.5 is not high, if they offer and you feel its right go for it. i am not sure about your line, i am with the IT and generally Singaporean PM = 7-10k. all the best mate! yea to add on top of that, don't think of the *2.4, think of it as apple vs apple and exposure you can gain here. decent room = $400 - 600 depend on what you are looking for, transpo = $50-60, food=$300, phone=$100 (this is my own expenditure, just to share with you) on top of that check the tax rate too...cheers! the 7-10k u mean is SGD????? |

QUOTE(seantang @ Jul 22 2009, 10:38 PM) I've been here for 4 years and I've never cut my hair here even once. I always go home to my favourite barber in Ipoh. in malaysia..i also always go x-cut..which cost me rm16 but cut 4 times got free 1 time...The cheapest is probably those traditional Indian or Malay barbers. Around S$8. But quite hard to find nowadays. Next is the quickie cut places in shopping centers where they cut your hair very quickly and vacuum you all over like a dog in a canine salon afterwards. S$10. Then you'd have those salons. I hear it's about S$40-50 a haircut at places like Jean Yip. Cheaper if you go those Auntie or Ah Lian salons in the HDB estates. really scared to move place again..after moving from johor to KL for around 7 years... |

QUOTE(seantang @ Mar 26 2010, 09:22 AM) So far action has only been taken to enforce copyright infringement, and only upon a specific complaint by the copyright owner. beware one day red light district or hustler might file a complain to SG Gov...then habis..all will kena. That means if the copyright owner doesn't complain or there is no copyright owner in Singapore, the previous examples of enforcement action will not have taken place. Therefore, if you are downloading content with no applicable copyright (eg. recordings of free-to-air broadcasts like Top Gear) or content with legally unenforceable copyright in Singapore (eg. porn) - then technically, the previous measures would not apply. |
