QUOTE(jack7155 @ May 20 2009, 09:29 PM) this is a new starter packs with 3g simcard. you can use it for data also. with rm6/day or rm20/week. the only bad is that this data service will have interruption when have incoming call. oic.. but now im still happy surfing with the old fashion way.. anyway.. only now i noticed eventhough with this new plan we can add other telco no into our FnF.. but the sms rate to them is 6cent/sms.. i tot it is the same 1 cent.. Added on May 20, 2009, 11:01 pm QUOTE(adie82 @ May 20 2009, 10:19 PM) ahaha.. definitely.. n that is what we want doesnt we.. Slowest is Xpax lah...still using that silly adjacent non adjacent rates thingy...and they have the gall to increase even that rate now...and a lot of people don't know that Celcom still charegs based on areas of call...

the new plan is better than old plan.. but not good enough compare to other telcos becoz of area based rates for non-15pax.
but 15pax is really interest me, half-cent per sms is damn cheap.. can chat with gf 24hours per day.. and its not limited to celcom network only (although the sms for non-celcom 15pax is 6sen) but it still attractive ecsp about 12sen/min call.. i'll migrate my old xpax mid plan to this new xpax plan.. (actually that just for my backup line, becoz i had already uox and celcom postpaid cep50 in hand lol) |

my conclusion..
15pax rates (very2 cheap) - 1/2sen per sms (or 6sen if non-celcom) - 12sen per min call - 30sen per min video call normal local voice call rates (considered cheap also) - 38sen per min to ALL network normal non-local voice call rates (expensive) - rm1.80/min for voice call adjacent and non-adjacent is expensive. if im not mistaken, first adding is free, then subsequent replacing/deleting 15pax cost you rm1 per entry/number.. that mean, it is better for u to add the number into 15pax before calling him/her because it only cost you rm1 compare to rm1.80/min normal call haha.. normal non-local video call rates (very2 expensive) - luckily i never made video call to not-so-close fren.. normal sms rates (acceptable - or should i say it quite cheap?) - 10sen/sms to ALL the only disadvantages is the red part which i believe your majority usage is not under that segment (right?). usually we make more local call (such as to office-mates, housemates, coursemates, husband/wife unless they're travel - erk, u should add him/her into your 15pax lol, etc) compare to non-local call. and if you always make non-local call to specific number u can add them into your 15 pax. so, decide yourself.. i dont know if hotlink will revise their plan again (just few weeks after launching their new hotlink extra/basic plan). but im quite sure digi will do something, this is because digi is the only operator (beside dying umobile) didn't response yet to hotlink new plan..
maybe digi wait celcom react first before they attacking the market.. so now, its digi turn.. |

nice catch there epool!!.... everytime wanna make call to adjacent no for long time, better add that no. to 15pax!
hahaha... if call from perak to selangor for 5min without 15pax(interoperator) rm1.8x5min= rm 9.00 if in 15pax rm0.12x5= rm0.60 incase of changing 15pax. add rm1.00 total= rm 1.60 hotlink extra rm0.38x1min = rm 0.38 + rm0.28x4min = rm 1.12 total RM 1.50 conc: hotlink extra is cheaper. but with a trick, XPAX is cheaper! for calls over 6minutes, XPAX surely win!! |
