Even tho all it takes is to sit n chat ur night thru wit 'dates', i personally think speed dating is mentally n physically tiring. It's particularly tiring to be sitting thru 4 5 rounds wit different guy evry 15 mins n repeat the same conversation wit a big smile on ur face...'Hi, where r u from? Wut do u do for a living? Wut do u do for fun? My name is lalala, Im from so n so, I'm an acct and I bla the bla bla.......". If thru the 15 mins, u manage the conversation, then it's great, but on the contrary if u meet those dat doesnt know wut to say, then u suffer the awkward moment trying ur very best to alwiz break the silence n u wish so hard for dat 15 mins to be up asap and at that very exact moment, that 15 mins seem as if time stood still forever, 15 mins feels like 15 hrs. That's actually challenging thus tiring.
And from my one time experience, I notice the participants are those that lack the social skills in life and turn to speed dating as the last resort in their life in looking for a life partner/marriage, despite some participants are the ones that have it all. Career, cash, postition and etc. So you can see it in the participants that all of them are desperately looking for love.....and dat's de sad part coz it's difficult to turn the whole experience into fun when everyone is so seriusly looking for their "Mr./Ms. Right"...u dun wanna be misleading at the same time
