That H. gigas setup is something isn't it? This is my H. gigas juvie. If it turns out female I would like to do something similar.

wow.. didnt know that gigas can swim or stayed in water so soo long.,..

I've heard of people soaking their haplopelma tanks in the kitchen sink for almost an hour and the T's were fine but I don't think I'd dare to try it on mine! Speaking of things to try, Aros, I've got one for you. Flip your T over on its back and it will stay like that motionless on your hand for a good 20 minutes or so! Read it in a thread on AB way back in 2004. Think it will be a cool thing to show people at the show! Just cup the T with both hands, one on top, one on the bottom, bottom hand should avoid the fangs of course. Then flip it on its back slowly, wait for T to settle and remove the hand. T SHOULD stay motionless like it is in a trance.

Added on June 23, 2009, 12:57 pmar... so now i got it... the urticating hairs really irritating.. my hands are all iching heavily.. never had this problem. and i read that the after effects when u got ur self urticating hairs on ur skin.. anyone had the same thing??

Don't know. Never been haired directly. But I've had my palms and eyes itch for no reason. Might have come into contact with U hairs indirectly.

the thing is that i dont realised the hairs are stuck to my palms.
but afte few days holding my T this ichiness come to play..

Sounds like you are very sensitive to the T hairs- time to switch to OW T's!

hahahah.. not fun la... man i do think im sensitive to them. But to hell with it.. lol

T can swim^^
my T excape into a hole, i shooted
the water from the other side of the hole with 2 host for very long time only it started to came out little by little. it came out because the water force, not because drowning.. so,T can swim^^

Have you tried any ointment like cortizone to relieve the itch?

argh.. this iching is terrible..

the itchyness will gone sooner or later^^

i used the lubricant and it does help but i cant do nothing.. its very slippry..
Cortizone? havent tried that mayb get it in guardians near my work place..
