dear andrew,
your statement was pretty true that feed them frequently during sling stage, and they will grow fast after then, oppositely stunted grow may occur for less frequent feeding. personally i have a few brachypelma albopilosum, the curly hair tarantula.knowing to be brachypelma, these genus are normally grouped as slow growers.but my batch of these are actually being feed frequently and cosisitantly.i felt surprise to see that they moult every 15-18 days.. other than the curlys, sometimes i wonder why lester's brachypelma smithi can grew to 5cm so fast from slings,i just heard about his smithi moulting everytime, while my brother's smithi moulted for twice, currently around 2cm.both lester's and my brother's are from the same sac.eventhough we tried to feed it,by offering food constantly, but it is still no way comparable with lester's.the future grow rate is greatly depends on how well the particular one being feed during slings stage.now i have to agree with andrew's conclude.unfortunately im attempting exams soon,if not,my a.seemani will definitely monsters. also lawrence,ur curly hair is one of the batch,so pump her up.let her grow fast.. |
