QUOTE(nimrod2 @ Sep 2 2010, 09:01 AM) sorry to ignore, but dont know much to say because my skill levels aint good enough to comment. i'm using the shootIII now. i bought the t-5 a few months back but the fitting aint so good cos my feet is wide. was using the shootII previously and that fit perfectly. so after being uncomfortable for a while, i decided to get the shootIII and save all the pain. just used it the 2nd time on tuesday and it's fits well. so conclusion, for myself the fitting is important cos my feet are wide. those normal shoes all dont fit me well (i had a sala before this and it didnt fit well at all). so i cant be too fussy about the shoes that i pick. thanks...so i guess i will have to try them shoes first before buying..n i guess the shoes dun make much of a diff.. QUOTE(skulless @ Jun 24 2011, 10:52 PM) Ankle guards are cheap. You can get some elastic ones or some band aid cotton type from the pharmacy and wrap around it. Much better. There are a few reasons why your ankle keeps straining, either you're using too much dependency on your stronger ankle, the playing field is imbalance, your futsal shoe plays a big part too, don't wear it too loose or too tight. The best measure is too stretch your ankle by twisting it slightly all round everyday! Yes I mean everyday. After playing, apply ice pack to flow the blood stream. If you do this after every futsal session, you will see improvement. I would also suggest do not go in challenge/tackle 100% like you use to, once it's crack, if you crack it again, it's double the damage, DD! If your upper body is heavier than your lower body, your legs are not strong enough to support your body. You need to strengthen your lower body, doing squats, leg press, leg pull in the gym if you can. If you can't, do the kungfu style squat for 10mins everyday to make it stronger. Stand on one leg and try to squat down and up again, vice versa do the other leg. i have those elastic guards..but are they sufficient? i think i tend to try n get the ball even when its far away from me..hence the stretch n sprain alright..awesome advice thanks!
