I just checked in Pavillion, the Predator X is available for customisation at RM879. Therefore, now they have both the Powerswerve series and X series. The shoes available for customisation in Pavillion is very limited. Only some running shoes, the 2 football boots i mention and 1 basketball shoes.  But, wasted la, the HSBC offer finish already.

The 50% off is Powerswerve Power and its in one of those factory outlet in Subang area, not the MI version.
Saw the new T90 Shoot 3, i must say its got ample amount of cushioning and quite flexible. Plus, i think many will like the new rubber thingy that aids the curve of the ball. Plus, its quite abrasive you know, the rubber thingy. Gonna hurt when you accidentally kick his leg or thighs or something. Price is RM399. Only setback is the color scheme. Citrus green, red and black. Not the best combination.

Its called the Mercurial Victory. Its available at Nike already. Colors are dark blue and light blue, just like the current range worn by Walcott, Drogba, Ronaldo and etc.

Goodness gracious, can everyone stop with the Al-Ikhsan fake stuff?

Sportswear companies are not stupid. They know that there are various types of consumers, ranging from rich to middle to the not-so-rich. If you were the CEO of Nike, would you rather: -

1) Focus on the premium segment, which yields high margin but lower volume, or
2) Focus on the lower income segment, which yields lower margins but higher volume, or
3) Widen your product range to cater to different segments of the market so that your portfolio of products is available to everyone?

Unless Nike become Louis Vutton, then I would think they'd choose to increase product range, that's why there's the cheaper range, middle and premium range.

Furthermore, if Al-Ikhsan is selling fake jersey and what not, why the heck would Adidas or Nike still sell to them their original stuff? And why the heck would they offer them "exclusive" colours and range? I've personally witnessed an Adidas executive at Al-Ikhsan giving them instructions on what they can do or cannot do with regards to merchandising the stuff. This serves an indication that Adidas is strict with their customers when it comes to execution of their promotions, etc, etc. This means that for sure they would penalise Al-Ikhsan one way or another, or pull back some of their exclusive deals if they Al-Ikhsan were doing some hanky-panky stuff.

I work in FMCG, and we are damn serious about our customers selling copycat products that uses our trademark. And we reward our best customers with exclusive deals, better discounts, etc.

I think sports companies would do the same...
