Hey guys,

We all agree that garmin is the best gps cause the maps are released by malfreemaps.  Well malfreemaps just started releasing maps for another software called Papago and it is so much cooler than garmin. Here is the link at malfreemaps:

http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3184

there are screenshots there too

Well the software is available for our phone but of course it it only the trial version and the full version has to be bought.  Here is the link for it

http://www.papago.com.tw/symbian/download.htm

If anyone can find out how to get the software..... would be great.  I mean get it legally .. hahah smile.gif

Wow. The Papago's junction view is cool, idiot-proof. thumbup.gif
Though Garmin is already very comprehensive, but there are times when the voice navigator tell you to turn, it's already too late and not specific enough, esp. when the the turn splits to 2 or 3 lanes, so i had to leave it to my luck to choose the correct lane.... doh.gif

please be specify like what type of bluetooth device? whats your phone firmware? Is your bluetooth ori or imitation.

Because i tested Bh-503 , BH100 and a few motorola bluetooth no such issue wo

Erm, i guess the BT is stable with Nokia devices. My Sony Ericsson BT hands-free (forgot model code) have this issue also. I totally give up with it. Now i will use the loudspeaker while i'm driving.

EDIT: BTW, this seems to be a common issue with this phone. Many users from other forums also reported this issue.

Does any1 know if there's a better video player for the Tube? The pre-installed Realplayer has many limitations...(laggy AVI, etc). Sometimes, i'm just lazy to convert...

the preinstalled player is fine actually. just it cant play avi format. thats all. how come its laggy?
dont think there are any other better player.
smart movie still lags a bit playing avi format. for mp4, really bad.
core player in other hand says that their upcoming version of player will play the same as smart movie.

Converted mp4 files are OK. Sigh...i guess i will just stick to the default player.

Btw guys, how do i get this Home screen (with 6 shortcuts and the 3 function keys)?

I do hope they'll implement the kinetic scrolling for Tube.
I've been having hard times scrolling/selecting songs. There are hundreds of them. A small slide results in a huge jump....

It's a software feature. It should be implemented in everything scrolling, web browsing, music search, contacts browsing. I wonder if it falls under "Theme effects"? Coz I have it off to minimize lag. Would be good if it is a separate feature altogether.

Yup, it should be software. If you try PhotoBrowser from Nokia Beta Labs, there's kinetic scrolling.
Enabling theme effect seems to have a bit of kinetic scrolling 'feel', but just not the iPhone like.

Hi, any1 have problems with screen display/haywire lines when switching from portrait to landscape mode? A friend of mine had this and is wondering why.
I previously had similar problem when locking/unlocking the phone, but it got solved at NCC where they replaced the LCD module for me.
I think now it's a different issue.

Please advice.
