you always transfer through mass storage or pc suite?

hey guys... anyone notice when ur playing with ur phone too long (be it the gps or internet streaming etc) the back of the phone gets kinda hot?

also, i downloaded an mp4 file but it couldnt play.. any ideas what i can do abt it? maybe reconvert it or something?

The built in IM cannot use WiFi... thats why you need applications like Nimbuzz. Try it!  Its awesome 

just to share with u guys. do not buy any class 2 micro sd card. work sucks on 5800. tested also on my bro 5800.it will crash and corrupt randomly. class 4 micro sd work just fine. so if u planning to buy 16 GB card. find the one that is class 4 and above. dont buy class 2 micro sd card. tested wit sandisk and kingston brand. others i dont know.

depends which u prefer wait 20mins to wait for it lock or get a fast lock when ur rushing or urgent.

So use always ask it will ask u to use data or not.

I use a-gps but always ask so when i am rushing or urgent i will press yes and the cost is like about 10cent and u get like near instant lock.

if i have alot time i just on it and leave my phone for it slow lock.

Bro, each lock on with A-GPS is only 6kb.

I rather spend 6 cents than waste my battery which I need to charge back also is more than 6 cents.

Once it got the lock, it uses integrated GPS. What A-GPS does is just to determine where you are. Once it knows where you are, it uses the integrated GPS to follow you.

And each A-GPS lock is good for 3 hours or so. After that if you have to lock on again. But then again, how many trips a day do you use Garmin? lol. In fact you can try, once you got a lock with A-GPS. Exit the software and turn off A-GPS and you will see you still can lock fast.

i cannot use my internal GPS for my 5800 ....help?

hi all. i just want to share my garmin screen captured when i was on airplane.
notice the speed and elevation.
but i have to sit near window to get the signal.
fyi i only use internal gps.

yes. i installed indonesia map. and rename it to gmapsup2.img
so i can use both mfm and indonesia map at the same time.
but since the map file is large, garmin will lag a bit.
i suggest to move the unused map outside the garmin folder first (meaning only use 1 map at a time) to make it fast again.

the only possible name as far as i know is gmapsupp.img, gmapsup2.img, gmapsup3.img
so that's mean you can run 3 maps on a device.

Software modification wont void the warranty unless YOU YOURSELF tell them u hack it. Only hardware modification/alteration will void the warranty...

Hard reset will wipe out all hacks/mods since u cant altered the ROM section (place where downloaded firmware stored, drive F). Unless u use hacked firmware which afaik, not common.

if under warranty and your reason is reasonable they will change for you for free

If not in warranty it also depend on their stock of the colour of your choice and price
